After Hours JAZZ

musicnoteAfter Hours is a Colorado-based jazz ensemble specializing in jazz and pop standards from the 1920s to the 1950s. The sound is best described as “moody, sultry vocals over light swing, New Orleans, and Latin rhythms.”


About After Hours Jazz:

The group line-up can be tailored to any occasion, ranging from a sextet for large events to a trio for smaller, more intimate functions. The band specializes in weddings, holiday, and corporate events and can also be found in Denver’s best-known jazz clubs.

A: Yes! After Hours travels all over Colorado, the U.S. and select international countries.

Q: What does “Sextet” mean?

A: Six pieces. Quintet is five pieces, Quartet is four pieces, Trio is three, etc.

Q: What instruments are in the band?

A: The six pieces are upright bass, guitar, piano, drums, trumpet, lead female vocals. We can add a sousaphone for our New Orleans configuration.
