Azucar - Latin Big Band

musicnoteAzucar, or “sugar,” is a 10 to 11 piece Salsa Band featuring male and female Lead Vocals, a smokin’-hot Horn Section, and an oh-so-sabroso Rhythm Section. The musicians of Azucar love what they do, and perform with sophistication and excellent execution, all the while entertaining audiences and having fun! With an emphasis on Salsa, some Merengue, Cha Cha, Cumbia and Bachata, the sweet sound of Azucar entices audiences of all backgrounds to the dance floor. Azucar’s extensive Song List is made up of hits from all over Latin America, and is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser where ever they perform. Their elegant horn arrangements are reminiscent of the Desi Arnaz Orchestra days, with the modern twist of electric bass and piano. This passionate Latin Big Band was chosen to perform at Mayor Hickenlooper’s house when he hosted twelve Latin Ambassadors during the Obama Elections, a very high profile event, and has been featured at Colorado Music Festivals with great success, holds steady nights at local nightclubs, and is available for weddings and private events all over Colorado and the world.
