Cristine Barbosa – Vocals
As a vocalist, pianist, and composer, Cristine keeps very busy around the Colorado music scene. You can find her singing at the famous “La Rumba” nightclub in Denver or catch her doing a show playing solo piano and vocals at “Ace Gillette’s Jazz Club” in Ft. Collins.
She began singing professionally doing local gigs in bars and night clubs in Colorado at the age of 15. At the ripe age of 21 Cristine put together her first Latin Salsa Orquestra, playing and touring the Caribbean, Europe, and Latin America.
Versatile in many musical styles this vocalist/ pianist can sing in Portuguese, Spanish, and English. She accredits this variation of many musical styles to her prevalent Latin heritage.
She has studied voice with renowned voice instructor Scott Martin. She has performed on numerous recordings for local and international artists including Gary Flori, Mac McCain, Kevin Irving, Chuck Berry (Aretha Franklins longtime pianist), Richard Kermode, John Madsen, Bill Francouer, Drucel White, Rita Dean, Kim Stone and many more. Cristine has taught voice, piano, and music theory lessons to many. Though she loves to teach, her heart is really in performing.
Hunter Hall – Vocals
Hunter is a singer, instrumentalist (piano, guitar) and music director. He graduated from the Lamont School of Music at the University of Denver with a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance and Piano (classical, jazz). He also appeared in leading roles in the Operas Gianni Schicchi (Rinuccio) and Faust (Faust) as well as performing a number of other roles.
He is the lead singer and songwriter of the Denver-based band Petals of Spain whose music has been compared to artists like Queen and Van Morrison. His roots however lie in musical theater, having music directed, accompanied and performed in a number of different shows.
Rockslide brings many different styles and great genres together in an explosive way.

Devan Blake Jones – Lead Vocals
Devan Blake Jones is a singer – songwriter and instrumentalist (guitar) out of Denver, CO.
Originally from Riverside, CA, Devan was featured on seasons 11 and 12 on FOX Tv’s American Idol. Out of 120,000 contestants he landed a spot in the top 40 male finalists nationwide.
Devan can be seen regularly performing at various venues in Colorado. He has released original music (singles) on ITUNES as well as various music videos. Currently he is in the studio finishing up his debut EP set for a summer release.
Devan enjoys working with talented musicians and loves being a part of the Rockslide family.
David Rajewski (AKA “Dave”) – Trumpet, Band Leader
As a trumpet player David has performed throughout the U.S. and Canada, Mexico and much of Europe. With over 17 years of professional experience he has performed and recorded with artists and groups as diverse as The Temptations, The Vervepipe, Steve Lippia, Leslie Gore and David Liebman. As a producer, David has produced T.V. episodes for the Discovery Channel and worked on countless studio recordings and commercials for several national television and radio stations including NBC, ABC, CBS and the Super Bowl.
Since moving to Denver from Detroit in 2004, David’s playing and band-leading skills have been utilized by many of Denver’s top Salsa, Pop, Funk, R&B, and Jazz groups. His diverse experience and talent has lead him to perform at Red Rocks, the Buell Theater, the Boulder Theater, and several live broadcasts for KUVO.
As Musical Director, David brings a level of experience that ensures your entertainment will be personalized, professional and simply unforgettable!
Adam Revell – Keys
Adam Revell is a pianist, composer, bandleader, and piano teacher. Adam is an active musician and teacher in the Denver area. His quartet, “Adam Revell & Essence Rider” released their first full-length CD in 2010, entitled Triple Leaf. Adam has performed with The Motet, John Common and Blinding Flashes of Light, Nina Storey, Wynard Harper, and many others.
About Rockslide, Adam says, “We can really stretch it out, and go with the flow, because everyone is such a good musician. It’s really exciting!”
Adam is a native Coloradan, and loves hiking, camping, hiking, boating, snowboarding, cooking, and of course, playing music.
Eric Erhardt – Saxophone
Originally from Philadelphia, PA is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music and the New England Conservatory.
He has performed internationally as a multi-instumentalist in several touring productions, including Fosse, A Chorus Line, Grease, She Loves Me, Ragtime and more. Eric also toured and was featured with such diverse artists and groups as Ken Peplowski, The Artie Shaw Orchestra, Steve March-Tormé (son of jazz legend Mel Tormé), The Stylistics, The Drifters, The Either Orchestra, and many others. As clarinet soloist on Benny Goodmanʼs Sing, Sing, Sing with the musical Fosse, Eric shared the stage with Broadway icon Ben Vereen in Paris, and West End star Ruthie Henshall throughout the United Kingdom.
Currently residing in Denver, Eric maintains an active performance schedule along the Colorado Front Range and beyond. Eric decided he wanted to pursue music as a career after practicing hard to win auditions for high school All-State Jazz Band & PA Governorʼs School for the Arts.
His favorite thing about Rockslide: Weʼre all pros and everyone is cool.
Tom Ball – Trombone
Tom Ball is a top call player known for being extremely versatile. Tom can play anything from Broadway musical scores and Brass Quintets, to swinging big band jazz and high-powered Salsa. His bluesy improvisational skills and deep knowledge of all styles make him a true asset to any musical ensemble.
Tom has a Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctorate in Music Performance. He has taught music at the elementary, middle school, high school and university level.
When he is not teaching or performing, Tom spends his time with his wife and four children.
His favorite thing about being in Rockslide is getting to play with the absolute finest musicians around.
Ed Breazeale – Drums
Ed Breazeale is a drum set performer, composer and jazz educator. He has had the good fortune to perform with many jazz luminaries including: Phil Woods, Victor Goines, Peter Martin, Cyrus Chesnut, Billy Hart, Maria Schneider, Von Freeman, David “Fathead” Newman, Bobby Broom, Nneena Freelon, Brad Goode, Andy Laverne, Jon Faddis, Elliot Mason and Carlos Henriquez. Ed holds a bachelors degree in jazz and studio music from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and a masters degree in jazz performance and pedagogy from the University of Colorado.
A dedicated educator, Ed has taught in a wide variety of venues. Currently Ed is a lecturer at the University of Wyoming, University of Colorado-Denver and Arapahoe Community College in addition to teaching at Denver School of the Arts. At these institutions Ed teaches a wide variety of subjects including: drum set lessons, jazz and popular music ensembles, music theory, ear-training, music business and jazz improvisation. Ed also has extensive experience in the formation and direction of educational percussion and jazz ensemble curriculum for public school districts.
Ed Breazeale is a Vic Firth Artist/Educator and has conducted clinics at the following educational festivals, high schools and colleges: Rolling Meadows Jazz Festival, Evanston Jazz Festival, St. Vrain Jazz Festival, Niwot High School, Skyline High School, University of Iowa, Northern Kentucky University, University of Colorado and Sheperd’s College.
The best day of Ed’s life was his wedding day! As such, Ed’s favorite part of Rockslide is making clients’ weddings as memorable and enjoyable as possible.
John Grigsby – Bass
Justin Francoeur – Guitar
Justin Francoeur is a Denver-based guitarist, electric bassist, banjo player, and singer. He won the Louis Armstrong Award for jazz in high school and has studied at the Berklee School of Music. He has toured the country with bands of all styles of music and opened up for many famous touring bands such as CCR and Skid Row.
In Denver, Justin played lead guitar in Neil Berg’s THE 12, and the recent production of THE UNSINKABLE MOLLY BROWN at the DCPA. He is an active sub on both guitar and bass for numerous groups in denver. Currently, Justin is working on his second album, THE ONE. His favourite thing about Rockslide is that it is a band of friends, who all happen to be kickass musicians and when we play, it’s not background music: it’s a concert!
Myke Charles – Emcee / Rapper / Lead Vocals
Myke Charles is Denver bred lyricist, performer, and recording artist who strikes a delicate balance between poetic substance and commercial mass appeal. With an obsessive affinity for hip-hop, he injects a gritty urban sound into any form of music he touches. Beginning as a poet/street rapper in middle school, Myke has since won the title Denver Idol (2010), reigned champion in the largest hip-hop battle in Colorado (2010), and performed countless times as a solo artist, a member of collegiate A Cappella group In The Buff, and lead vocalist in some of Colorado’s top bands.
In 2011, Myke Charles participated in the largest season of NBC’s “The Sing-Off” as the rapper and frontman of professional A Cappella group Urban Method. Having gained national notoriety, CO’s emcee has drawn comparisons to Drake, J. Cole, & Eminem. He has shared the stage with large acts such as Flo Rida, Lupe Fiasco, Kid Ink, The Game, and many more. Myke’s experiences had led him to be a dynamic performer with an unrivaled energetic presence.
Outside of music, Myke Charles is a college graduate with a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado. He spends free time travelling, being active with friends and family, and is interested in youth community outreach and education.
Myke is honored to be a member of Rockslide. He loves working with musicians who can push the limits and create spontaneous timeless moments.
